How to visit Machu Picchu and Peru in less than $1200 for a 1 week tour from the USA

Hey there just warped up my trip to Peru and Machu Picchu and it was such an amazing trip and i got back and tried to google if there was any posts on how to do this great trip is less than $1200 there wasn't and i did it so i went ahead and thought i can share this with you all. Here is how to do it and when.
May is a great time to visit PERU the weather is around 65-72 and chilly at nights. If you book ahead you should be able to get a deal on Copa airlines flying out of North east for around $515 round trip.
So iam using a Thursday to Thursday trip itinerary to make it easy to understand.
So if you fly out of the USA, their flights leave early in the AM, you should fly into LIMA by 3-4pm in the afternoon. Once your out of the Airport taxi to the main city should be cost no more than 25soloes($9). A hostel room in LIMA in the Miraflores district can be between $15 a night. Check out www.hostel.com. Chicken/fries and salad meal costs around($4) 3 meals should cost you no more than $25 if you are smart it will cost no more than $20 and your trip costs comes down, i took protein bars and had two good meals and my costs were around $15-$20 per day for meals. Next day(Friday) hop a local bus($4Roundtrip) to the main square and visit the cliffs and Lancomar(Three meals should be around $25). If you want to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset head down to the cliffs early or late during the day.
Saturday book an early flight out of LIMA to CUZCO through LAN airways if you book ahead you can get a RT lima-cuz for around $250. Arrive in cuzo in the afternoon, take it easy on Saturday you will need to relax for the high altitude change. A night in Cuzo will cost you $15 through hostel.com.
Sunday: Visit the main square in cuzco or the handicraft market, things are cheaper here than in Machu Picchu.
Monday: Take the 7:45am Expedition train to Agues caliente(Machu Picchu city)$56 one way
When you arrive in Agues Caliente at around 12noon, check into a hostel that will cost you $20 a night hostel.com.
Go down to the main square and at the cultural center buy your entrance tickets to Machu Picchu. Walk around town, do the small trail up to machu picchu if your up for it or visit the bath and make sure you buy your bus tickets to Machu Picchu$16 RT.
Tuesday: Get up early 5-530am head down to the bus stop hop a bus to go and have a great sight of the sun rising over Machu Picchu trust me its definitely worth the wait in the long line to hop the bus and get inside the ruins of Machu Picchu.
Enjoy your day 6am-3pm solid 9 hours inside the ruins. Hop a bus at 3pm come back down to Agues caliente take the 4:45pm train back to Cuzo($56). Check back into your hostel.
Wednesday: Take the early flight to LIMA 7:15AM it will bring you into LIMA by 9:30 hop on a afternoon flight back to the US and you should be back home early Thursday morning. So this is how its done in $1000. Here is the breakdown.

Home Sweet Home

Finnaly i'am back home and in the last three months in Africa was one of the most time in my life eyeopener and has made me to look at things differently. The trip on the whole was good personally and professionaly. I have learned to appreciate all that god has provided us and learnt to appreciate what we have when i came across people who lived on $1 a day it was sad and very depressing to hear several storeis of hardship, how people walk for 3 hrs just to get to work jsut to save the extra money. I'am trully greatfull with what i have and think we should be happy and content with what god has provided with. The world looks like a small villagae now but culturally its a huge huge city it was nice to experiance another culture, work part of the trip was very informative as well on the whole i enjoyed the whole African trip. If its god will i hope to return there one day to the cradle of civilization.

Witchcraft and Voodo Magic

Well this week wemoved home guess what we had a witch dr come and do some crazy stuff to the house before we could move its a tradition, well speaking on this topic i hiked mt mulanje its the tallest peak in southern africa from DRC(dem.rep.of congo) to cape town, its arond 3500M above sea level, we hiked 1500m for about 3 hrs...was fun during the hike our guide asked us to avoide certain paths because they say there are evil sprits around the hills wowo spooky ah then i began to laugh and he tells us that in mt mulanje they unearthed ancient burial grounds and found many anciet rituals being practiced there...and also there are tribals in the mountain....so one lady dissappeared last yr never to be found now this is not a myth or legen...they say she was killed by the spirit..she did not die coz they havent found her body yet...well whathappened to her no one know. Then i got into a conversation with him and he was telling me all the stuff that goes on with witch dr and vodoo magic in africa.Also while in tanzania they was lot of problems over a series of albinos murders the reason ? albinos body parts are used to make a protion when consumed you would become rich they say. So albinos were targeted in and around dar es salam,tanzania....itscrazy ha....ask me in person about all the rest of the stuff i heard about vodoo magic.....its really really crazy.......

Political Turmoil Everywhere

Well well i see that India is at the crossroads again when one colation govt geting toppled by its own supporters. This is like the 3 or 4 time in 1 year this has happened as long as shit like this happens i guess G8 will remain as G8. Why cant politicians do what is good for the country and not for themselves when will they come to understand this. The nuke deal will help India in the best way and will help it to grow i think the left is just shiting around with china and not taking up the nuke deal well politician come its your own people that are suffering. Why cant you atleast fight for something better rather than over a nuke deal. Millions of people in the world and even in india are dying because of basic need like food do we need to fight over nuke deal when there are other problems around. Why cant u fight poverty if you guys want a fight......this is really really shity politics......the stupid chinese and russian had to veto another securty council against zimbabe come on people whatz happening in this world aren't we suppose to look after eachother. I know china wants investments chances in Zim but what will they invest on if all the people are dead ? i think its all POWER people want......i cant stand it!!!

G8 should be G9 or G10

I think its about time India and China become members of the G8 rather than just inviting them as guests we are growing a a greater economic rates than anyother of the 8 members provided we do have problems like poverty and corruption....we are good enough to be there among the bigger bullies...what do yall think

Freedom

I was forced to write this after i read a comment from my uncle about one of my pic's i wrote"thinking about freedom" he had asked me is it freedom from family i had to say family is a gift and a right its something we cannot get freedom from....family is more like a bondage a bondage of love where is the extremes of love on eachother....and i would never want freedom from that bondage of love. I think you miss your family very much only when they are not around and intend to find a bondage of love....

Independence Day

haha its July 4th and July 6th is the independence day of Malawi great celebrations going on here this week was pretty normal nothing much struck me and nothing spoke to me this week it was very hectic work wise so i guess i have nothing much to blog about. Just freedom is so good i hope the people of zimbabe get theirs soon.....have a great week ahead.....
